Tarik is a spice expert and a creative in the kitchen. His enthusiasm for experimentation and joy for sharing his food is palpable and infectious. He’s great with kids and has instructed young adults in the ways of the kitchen for many years so if you have a kiddo interested in learning about healthy cooking and having fun with food, bring them to see him at the markets this year.

Hend is amazing at simultaneously crafting delicious food and captivating a crowd of market goers with her knowledge. She is a true pro and PCC Markets Instructor and will always delight with her fresh and unique, often culturally inspired, choices. Don’t miss chatting with her. She is an excellent resource.

Seattle's Soup Queen Caroline Wright
Caroline learned the importance of community and soup while fighting an aggressive form of cancer. She has since then devoted herself to nourishing and caring for others with the best remedy she could find, cooking with her community. You can taste how carefully and joyfully crafted her soups are. Always simple and fresh, Caroline’s soups are a market staple. If you want to adopt better diet habits this year, definitely chat with Caroline about her recipes. She often hands them out for free but you can always buy one of her books too.
