COVID Market Modifications

Make the Most of Your Market Trip:

  • Seniors, People experiencing mobility difficulties, people requiring ADA accessibility, and pregnant people, please bypass the line, we are happy to let you in ASAP!

  • Stay home if you are (or think you are) sick. Stay home if you have (or think you have) been in contact with someone who is sick.

  • Designate one shopper per family.

  • Look down and around for sidewalk markings to denote where to stand when waiting in lines and moving through the market.

  • Vendors have the option of allowing customers to pick their own produce or product, or selecting it for you - please observe the signs at each individual vendors booth.

  • Maintain 6 feet of space around you at all times.

  • Wear a face mask.

  • You may bring reusable bags.

Market Modifications You’ll Notice:

  • Modified layouts ensure 10’ between vendor booths to allow for greater circulation and distance.

  • Each market has a single entrance to control shopper capacity and foot traffic.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided at Market Manager tents, with multiple hot water, public hand washing stations available in the markets.

  • There is no sampling or prepared food until further notice.

  • No music, entertainment, market events, cooking demos, or public seating areas until further notice.

Vendor and Staff Conduct:

  • All vendors and staff must wear protective face coverings.

  • All vendors must separate cash and product handling.

  • All vendors and staff will ensure regular and proper hand washing.

  • Vendors and staff will politely ask you to keep moving so we can serve as many shoppers as possible.

  • Vendors and Staff will limit the number of shoppers in front of booths at any given time.

  • Surfaces and ‘high touch’ items such as tables, POS terminals, cash boxes, etc. will be sanitized regularly.

  • NFM market staff will be assigned to conduct regular and ongoing checks for hand washing stations, proper bleach solutions, and sanitizing supplies in addition to our regular food safety controls.
